
Umar Gul is a fast bowler and Pakistani cricketer who known for his in-swinging Yorkers. He first appeared on the scene in 2003 against Zimbabwe. At that time he bowled with Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis and learned a lot from them. After they retired he solely took the burden and led the Pakistani bowling attack from the front. Day by day his bowling improves and he becomes more lethal bowler as time passed by. His best bowling is against England in which he took 6 wickets for 42 runs.
He bowled well with old ball and been able to extract reverse swing that no other Pakistani bowler in current bowling lineup had achieved. Initially he did not bowl well with new ball but after the coaching of Waqar Younis he also learn to use new ball with good results.
